Continuing our mission at the high schools and shelter, Zonta is the sponsoring organization for Z-Club. Z-Club members are students at the high schools who contribute many hours in community service. Each high school Z-Club chooses its own projects including programs to prevent texting while driving, quilts for children in police situations and a favorite for all the Z-Clubs, hosting “parties” for the mothers and children at the Porterville Family Crisis Center shelter. The parties provide a safe and different environment away from the shelter and give the Z-Club students a rewarding experience.
